Architectural Document Quality Control Associate

• Review Millwork and construction drawings and check for accuracy; make corrections as necessary and communicate corrections to design team.
• Match Millwork drawings to 2D schematics. 80%
• Collaborate with other departments as necessary to resolve project issues or delays within scope of authority assigned.
• Communicate with clients regarding desired changes to production documents; make required edits as required.
• Create 2D drawings of developed products for client review. 20%.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience working with AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing construction and millwork documents.
• Must be experienced producing 3D drawings.
• Prior experience working in millwork strongly preferred.
• Prior experience working in kitchen or bath design a plus.
• Prior experience with construction drawings a plus.

• Space planning skills a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office application such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Proficient with AutoCAD software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
• Superior Customer Service skills.

Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is not exposed to weather conditions. The noise, light, sound and temperature levels are usually moderate and typical of an office environment.
