Growing Ophthalmology and Optometry practice is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist with excellent professional and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 2 years secretarial/receptionist experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet patients upon arrival
- Perform check-in and check-out functions
- Answer multi-line phones
- Register new patients
- Collect co-pays and outstanding balances
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Schedule appointments and testing
- Perform other office duties as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Essential Skills & Abilities:
- Be a person of integrity and character
- Superb customer service skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and diligent
- Familiarity with medical records
- Typing and computer literacy
- Desire to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and co-workers
- Professional conduct and appearance
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred.
Salary dependent on experience. Excellent benefits and a very pleasant work environment. Office hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
