What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometrist position at Eye Consultants and Surgeons of Arizona?
Optometrist Opportunity – Phoenix Metropolitan Area
Established, physician-owned ophthalmology/optometry practice in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our growing team.
Our well-respected practice has a large, established patient base and operates three conveniently located offices in Tempe, Chandler, and Old Town Scottsdale. We recently expanded through the acquisition of an established ophthalmology/optometry clinic as one of our ophthalmologists begins transitioning toward retirement, creating an excellent opportunity for a motivated provider to step into a busy and growing practice.
Our ophthalmology team includes two cornea specialists, and the practice offers a comprehensive range of services including medical and surgical ophthalmology, cornea care, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and corneal transplantation procedures. Optometrists play a key role in post-operative care, as well as in the ongoing medical management of patients. We also offer advanced cataract technology including Light Adjustable Lenses, with the in-office device required to perform post-operative lens adjustments.
In addition to ophthalmology/optometry services, two of our locations includes on-site optical shops, allowing us to provide comprehensive vision care for a wide range of patients.
Importantly, our practice is physician-owned and operated, not private equity backed, allowing our providers to maintain clinical autonomy while building a long-term career in a supportive environment.
