This role is based within our Retina Services team, with a home clinic location and travel to satellite locations as needed. The position requires a mix of sitting and standing, along with occasional lifting (30 pounds), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs.

What You’ll Do
- Support retina specialists during patient exams, procedures, and treatments
- Screen and document visual acuity findings and various other ocular testing
- Accurately document patient history, medications, and test results
- Assist with refractions to help determine vision needs
- Educate patients on eye conditions and follow-up care
- Escort and assist patients throughout their visit, ensuring comfort and safety
- Prepare exam rooms, complete forms, and support efficient clinic flow
- Collaborate closely with providers and team members to deliver outstanding patient care
- High school diploma required
- Previous medical or ophthalmology experience is a plus—but we’re willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with computers and technology
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while adhering to HIPAA compliance regulations
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Professional development is encouraged, but not required
- No weekends
