Role Description
The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision exams, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of ocular conditions. Responsibilities also include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and educating patients about preventative eye health. This is an on-site, full-time role based in Williamsburg, VA.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, providing vision exams, and conducting contact lens fittings
- Strong ability to interpret diagnostic tests and utilize advanced ocular treatment technologies
- Excellent patient education and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with professional healthcare regulations
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure to practice optometry in Virginia
