What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contact Lens Technician-Entry Level position at Eye Care Physicians & Surgeons/Optic49?
Eye Care Physicians & Surgeons is a fast-paced Ophthalmology practice with a team-based culture to best serve our patients.
The Contact Lens Technician works closely with physicians and members of the Optic 49 team to provide patient oriented and cost-effective quality care. The technician will perform visual fields and is responsible for most facets of the contact lens services offered by Eye Care. These include: billing, inventory maintenance, patient contact and acting as patient advocate and educator. The technician will communicate effectively and professionally with courtesy and respect to team members at all levels. They will model ECPS core values and service excellence at all times as they strive to give the patients a memorable quality experience.
Qualifications: Experience in a medical or ophthalmic setting preferred. EPM/EHR skills with general ocular anatomy and physiology helpful. Critical listening and communication skills required. Excellent customer service delivery with patients and staff supporting "Yes Clinic" culture.
