What You’ll Do
As an Optometric Technician, you will support our doctors and patients by performing key clinical and patient-care responsibilities, including:
- Measure and record blood pressure and eye pressure
- Perform visual acuities
- Obtain and expand on chief complaint / patient history
- Electronic health record (EHR) data entry
- Assist with contact lens fitting and testing
- Train new contact lens wearers
- Perform diagnostic testing, including:
- Visual fields
- OCT
- Fundus photos
- And other testing as needed
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Positive attitude and patient-first mindset
- Problem-solving mentality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong basic math skills
- Punctual, dependable, and professional appearance
- 1 year of Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician experience (recommended)
- Professional development assistance
- Paid support to pursue technician certifications
- Hands-on training and coaching to build advanced clinical skills

- Pay range increased for Certified Technician (based on experience)
Salary : $16 - $20
