Optometric Technician
Eye Associates is looking for a positive, energetic, motivated professional to become part of our team!
Our position requires the desired candidate to have the ability to assist with pre-testing, imaging and patient intake. This person must have effective communication skills with our patients and team members. They must also possess high attention to detail and be well organized while being able to multitask. Job Responsibilities:
TECHNICIAN:
· Preliminary testing/imaging
· Update health history
· Assist Doctor with various other eye care related tasks
Basic Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate with patients and coworkers
- Embrace new technology and change
- Ability to handle interruptions and multitask
- Competent math and computer skills
- Punctual/flexible
- Flexibility to work from other locations as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- ABO certified
- 1 year technician experience
Job Type/hours: Full time position with occasional Saturdays (8-12pm)
Pay: $16-20 per hour
