Before lunch you’re shaping acrylic; by afternoon you’re engraving PVC and trimming aluminum — every day brings different materials and creative challenges.

What you’ll own
- Operate a CNC router to cut, shape, and engrave diverse substrates with precision.
- Interpret design proofs, art files, blueprints, and CAD files to execute accurate toolpaths.
- Use sign shop/CAM software to review or adjust designs and enter cutting parameters.
- Configure table prep, vacuum hold-down, router bit selection, and feed/speed settings.
- Select, size, and prep raw stock; ensure cleanliness and defect-free quality; load/unload safely and store materials properly.
- Run additional shop equipment when needed and assist with cutting, gluing, and assembly.
- Inspect incoming materials and finished parts against specifications and quality standards.
- Handle routine maintenance, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate repairs.
- Track tooling and consumables; maintain inventory and initiate reorders as needed.
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area; use PPE and follow safe machine operation practices.
- 1 years of professional CNC router operation experience (sign industry, woodworking, plastics fabrication, or similar).
- Proven ability to read CAD files, design proofs, and technical drawings.
- Comfort with sign shop or CNC programming software.
- Knowledge of router bits, tooling, cutting speeds/feeds for aluminum, acrylic, PVC, wood, foam, and composite substrates.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment.
- Detail-focused, organized, and able to thrive under deadlines.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Positive, team-first approach; reliable, punctual, and production-minded.
