Occupational Therapist (PT) - Therapeutic Day Program
Chicago, IL | Predictable Monday–Friday, 8am-4:00 PM schedule - no evenings or weekends.
Compensation & Benefits
- Total Compensation Package: Valued between $88,000-$105,000.
- Annual Salary: $72,000–$85,000, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
Eyas Landing - Avondale offers a unique opportunity to provide occupational therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative environment designed to foster each child's sensory processing and integration, motor coordination, fine motor development, and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized and rotation therapy
- Implementing client-centered therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Intentional Relationship Model (IRM), and reflex integration
- Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers
- Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree of Occupational Therapy
- Active Illinois Licensed Occupational Therapist license through IDFPR
- Experience providing OT services to children with autism and/or other neurodevelopmental differences
