What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paid Media Strategist - Contractor position at EY?
We currently have a contract opportunity for a Paid Media Strategist.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a performance media advisor, partnering with internal marketing stakeholders to develop, brief, and optimize paid media strategies aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with the Paid Media COE and media agency on intake, strategy development, media brief creation, and activation planning for new and ongoing campaigns
- Oversee day‑to‑day campaign execution and performance management across paid search and programmatic channels in partnership with the external media agency
- Monitor KPIs, pacing, delivery, and performance trends, working with analytics teams and the agency to provide reporting and actionable insights
- Participate in recurring status meetings with the COE, agency partners, and media vendors to ensure operational excellence and continuity across in‑flight campaigns
Qualifications:
- Strong hands‑on experience managing and optimizing Paid Search campaigns, including platform execution and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with Paid Social and Programmatic channels, including common tactics, targeting methods, and measurement approaches.
- Ability to interpret dashboards, analyze performance data, and surface insights that inform optimization and strategic recommendations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain high attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, especially when collaborating with agencies and cross‑functional marketing partners.
The expected pay rate range for this contract assignment is $100-130 per hour. Exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
