What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Solution Architect - Contractor position at EY?
We currently have a contract opportunity for an Enterprise Solutions Architect to lend expertise around architecting Cloud applications on an enterprise level.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise architectures using cloud-native patterns in AWS or Azure.
- Define and evolve current-state and future-state architectures using ArchiMate and TOGAF frameworks to align with business strategy.
- Lead solution architecture for complex, distributed systems across multiple business units and product portfolios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
- Provide architectural governance, mentorship, and oversight across development teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture with a strong background in application development and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Proficiency in enterprise modeling frameworks and tools such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, BPMN, and UML.
- Demonstrated experience in designing solutions for distributed systems, microservices, and integration-heavy environments.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
The expected pay rate range for this contract assignment is $111 to $131 per hour. Exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
