Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IATF Project Lead to manage and sustain all IATF 16949 and ISO-related initiatives across the organization. This role oversees full compliance with IATF standards, drives system alignment, and partners closely with cross-functional teams to execute project plans, resolve nonconformities, and support continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, auditing expertise, and a hands-on approach to ensuring the Quality Management System (QMS) remains robust, compliant, and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and ongoing maintenance of the IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
- Develop, manage, and track project timelines to ensure successful implementation and sustained conformance.
- Ensure consistent compliance with all IATF requirements and customer-specific standards.
- Mentor, guide, and motivate project team members to achieve system and audit objectives.
- Serve as Lead Auditor for the QMS, ensuring processes, documentation, and requirements meet established standards.
- Conduct internal, customer-specific, and system audits; drive updates and improvements to the QMS based on findings.
- Coordinate QMS audit activities, including scheduling, training, audit planning, and corrective action follow-up.
- Act as the primary QMS Representative for all third-party IATF16949 audits, as well as internal and external assessments.
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Auditor certifications: IATF 16949 and Lead Auditor credentials required.
- Proven experience implementing an IATF 16949 system.
- Minimum of 2 years of IATF 16949 auditing experience.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in project management related to IATF initiatives.
- Strong ability to collaborate across departments and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail with outstanding organizational capability.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (databases, formulas, pivot tables, graphs).
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
