Discover your exciting roleThe Data Technician is responsible for providing support as necessary for projects by cross-referencing and maintaining accurate project data between several platforms. As part of the VDC Technology Team, the Data Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining organized and up-to-date databases and data sources, contributing to the overall efficiency of our project operations.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities- Enter data into databases, spreadsheets, and other platforms with a high degree of accuracy.
- Verify and correct data discrepancies to maintain data integrity
- Organize and maintain databases and platforms ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Review and cross-check data for errors and inconsistencies
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to obtain missing information or clarify data discrepancies
- High School Diploma or equivalent, additional education is a plus
- Proven experience in Data Science related role a plus
- Data Science related studies are a plus
- Excellent Typing skills with focus on speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Proficient in using databases and Microsoft Office Suite, with focus on Excel.
- Highly adept at interfacing / aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacy. Reaches out, willing to collaborate, and values different opinions and perspective.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
