Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers and Project Managers to define conceptual configurations and initial design requirements.
- Review customer specifications and incorporate them into assigned projects.
- Develop custom mechanical designs that meet customer needs and industry standards.
- Follow project schedules and complete assigned tasks on time.
- Prepare advanced bills of materials and identify long‑lead components.
- Review final design packages to ensure compliance with current specifications and requirements.
- Produce drawings for approval and release, including major component designs.
- Provide hands‑on support to the manufacturing team during system build and assembly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years of related mechanical design experience preferred.
- Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software, including Pro‑E/Creo (preferred), AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
- Ability to create detailed 3D assemblies and fully documented 2D drawings in accordance with ANSI Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standards.
- Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in sanitary pharmaceutical equipment (e.g., sanitary valves, pumps, flow meters, tanks).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative design team.
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
