This role utilizes hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and plastic welding techniques to produce high-quality products in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Measure, cut, shape, weld, and assemble plastic components and systems.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment, including saws, routers, drills, and welders.
- Perform finishing processes such as sanding, deburring, scraping, and polishing.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot fabrication and assembly issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain production records and follow established manufacturing procedures.
- Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read a tape measure and work with fractional and decimal measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Experience with plastic fabrication, welding, assembly, or manufacturing processes preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safety and quality.
