The Data Technician is responsible for providing support as necessary for projects by cross-referencing and maintaining accurate project data between several platforms. As part of the VDC Team, the Data Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining organized and up-to-date databases and data sources, contributing to the overall efficiency of our project operations.

• Collecting, processing, and validating large datasets from multiple sources using different tools and APIs
• Analyzing data trends to support strategic decision-making
• Creating and Maintaining dashboards and visualizations using Excel and Power BI
• Writing queries and automating reports using Excel VBA and Python
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
• Report on any data-related issues or concerns
• Preparing reports and presenting insights to stakeholders
• Using statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and time-series forecasting
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Show Your Expertise

Minimum Required

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science or equivalent
• Additional Education is a plus
• 3 years of experience
• Non-Degreed Equivalent experience will be considered
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Proficient in using databases and Microsoft Office Suite, with focus on Excel and Power BI
• Python Experience
• Web-API Experience a plus
• Highly adept at interfacing and aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacy
• Reaches out, willing to collaborate, and values different opinions and perspective
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
