About The Houston
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What Role You Will Play In Our Team
  • The Development Program Readiness Coordinator is responsible to track, coordinate and drive readiness for all activities required ahead of well spud for ExxonMobil's unconventional development in the Delaware Basin.
  • This role encompasses the entire well progression process, from initial ideation to ready-for-spud status.
  • This position is based on ExxonMobil’s campus in Spring, TX, with periodic travel to Midland, TX or Carlsbad, NM (approximately 1 week per quarter).

What You Will Do
  • Manage well progression from opportunity generation to ready-for-spud status.
  • Work across Reservoir, Geoscience, Land, Projects, Wells, and Regulatory teams to drive progress on key deliverables needed for spud readiness.
  • Provide extensive execution KPI reporting and overall risk assessment to monitor program performance.
  • Seek out early warning indicators for execution and program risk. Identify issues and work with respective teams to resolve or reprioritize activities.
  • Drive continuous business process improvements to enhance efficiency of development program readiness

About You
Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years Oil & Gas industry experience, with cross functional experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organization, analytical and planning skills
  • Ability to motivate and leverage resources to provide appropriate support for multiple projects.
  • Must be able to work independently to perform complex analyses, demonstrate initiative, desire and ambition to learn and take on additional tasks.
  • Ability to work and lead different groups to work together as a team. Ability to drive to solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, including integrated schedule management

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
  • Engineering Degree
  • Experience in US L48 unconventional development and/or execution
  • Proven track record of successful project management and team coordination
