Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Sports Performance Coach, located in Surprise, AZ. The Sports Performance Coach will deliver personalized 1 on 1 and customized small group training sessions focusing on improving athletic performance. Responsibilities include:

• Coaching clients in a professional manner with training programs that are scientifically based

• Creating personalized or customized training programs that are scientifically based in advance before the clients upcoming session

• Designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs as well as speed and agility programs

• Follow up with clients in a timely manner with accountability texts, monthly check-ins/performance testing results, communicating details regarding training program

• Conduct Performance Testing and send over results in Exult Performance's template to client's

• Attend staff meetings, vendor events, and tournaments/games

• Clean up the gym/workout space after clients

• Create workout/educational content for social media platforms to build rapport with Exult Performance's community

• Show proof of continuing education (additional certifications, reading sports performance related books or studies)

• Coaching athletes of all levels

• Conduct consultations and close new clients

• Assist with the sales process and sales cycle

• Encourage and maintain a positive, encouraging, driven environment for athletes of all levels

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Applied Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science related field AND must be certified through NASM, ACSM, and/or NSCA.

• Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning and Athletic Performance techniques

• Experience with Coaching and Training individuals and groups

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Proven leadership and ability to work in a collaborative environment

• Knowledge of fitness and nutrition principles

• Passion for helping individuals achieve their physical and mental goals through a faith-based approach
