Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Evaluate MRP action reports to define the need for the purchased product, prepare RFQs, evaluate quotes, select suppliers, create and approve purchase orders (POs), as well as the delivery of approved POs to suppliers.
• Manage and support various commodities as needed with high viability to balance demand across core and preferred suppliers. Maintain an understanding of each supplier’s capabilities and current capacity, relative to site requirements to ensure appropriate supplier selection.
• Understand fundamental market drivers so that reasonable pricing can be determined, and supply risk reduced.
• Monitor and manage supplier relationships including reporting and resolution of KPI issues.
• Prepare and analyze bid packages. Select suppliers and negotiate the best contract terms and conditions.
• Ability to balance and prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to Evaluate issues, gather and analyze available information, and develop potential options or recommendations to support informed decision-making and discussion.

Required Education and Experience:

• BA or BS in Business in business, engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement in a manufacturing environment along with strong knowledge of procurement best practices and general business principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong MS Suites knowledge, specifically Excel.
• Proven ability to develop and execute action plans and communicate /coordinate cross functionally with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing Operations and Suppliers to achieve company goals.
• Conscientious, organized and meticulous with records.
• Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills while demonstrating professional communication.
• Ability to work extended hours as required to meet business objectives and customer demands.
• Understands both verbal and written instruction.
• Team oriented and continuous improvement outlook.

Salary Range: $90,000 to $95,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
