Extreme Steel, Inc. is a growing AISC-certified structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator and erector serving the DC, Virginia, and Maryland areas. We are looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as Painters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare structural steel and metal surfaces for painting.
- Clean, sand, grind, and prepare steel surfaces as needed.
- Apply primers and coatings using airless paint sprayers and other painting tools.
- Ensure proper coating application and paint mil thickness.
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and work areas.
- Operate forklifts and assist with material handling as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial or metal painting experience required.
- Structural steel painting experience preferred.
- Experience using airless paint sprayers and surface preparation tools required.
- Knowledge of paint mil thickness and proper coating application.
- Ability to safely use required PPE and respirators.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
