What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powersports Technician position at Extreme Powersports?
Extreme Powersports is currently hiring a Certified Mechanic for our multi-brand Powersports dealership. We are looking for a motivated mechanic that has experience in the Powersports industry. We carry Polaris, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Slingshot, and Arctic Cat brand side by sides, ATVs, motorcycles, and dirt bikes. This person will be required to repair and service these brand units. Extreme Powersports offers training for the different brand certifications beginning with Bronze Level and continuing education for Silver and Gold Level certifications. Qualifications
- EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Brand Certification Recommended)
- Automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and vehicle maintenance
- Proficiency in brake repair, assembly, and suspension work
- Previous mechanic experience, preferably in a dealership or as a service technician
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle heavy lifting
- Additional skills in soldering, welding, and automotive repair would be beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
