Small Business Warehouse Manager
We are a growing small business seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee our shipping, logistics, inventory, ordering, and assembly team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Amazon inventory management, be capable of managing inventory in QuickBooks desktop, and work in tandem with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and assembly team.
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing and shipping, while maintaining inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with our sales team to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on-time.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity within the warehouse.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, and compliance with all safety regulations.
- Manage the warehouse budget, ordering supplies and materials as needed.
- Manage inventory in QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions.
- Work in tandem with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, with a track record of success in logistics, inventory, and order fulfillment.
- Experience with Amazon inventory management and QuickBooks is essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Experience managing inventory in QuickBooks.
- Ability to work in tandem with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
