Responsibilities
- Setup, program, & operate various machines(router, waterjet, plasma cutting table, laser cutting table)
- Identify material to be cut
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Work with hand tools and precision measuring of parts
- Inspect cut products ensuring the accuracy
- Maintain equipment
- Keep work area clean
- Work efficiently and safely to ensure jobs are completed meeting deadlines
- Assist co-workers when needed and be a team player
- Perform other reasonable tasks when necessary as requested by supervisors
- The responsibilities are not limited to this list
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and stoop
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50lb )
- Prior experience in a fabrication/machine shop preferred
