Duties
- Operate a wide range of construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, water trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tankers to execute site tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment such as Caterpillar machinery and other construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of construction sites by moving materials, grading surfaces, and preparing foundations using heavy equipment.
- Follow all safety regulations and occupational safety standards diligently while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times to safeguard yourself and your team during operations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials like concrete mixers and farm machinery across the site.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities in compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, excavators, cranes, backhoes, water trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, or tankers on construction sites.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on various types of construction equipment.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles including tanker trucks and farm machinery preferred.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and occupational safety regulation compliance is essential.
- Prior experience working with concrete mixers or performing crane operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction materials handling and site logistics coordination enhances your effectiveness on the job.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high safety standards throughout all operations.
