Role Description The Lead Electrician role at Extreme Electric, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashville, TN. The Lead Electrician will oversee and perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and residential projects, ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with codes and company standards. This role includes leading and mentoring field electricians, coordinating daily tasks, reading and interpreting electrical plans and schematics, and collaborating with project managers and other trades to maintain schedules and quality. The Lead Electrician will diagnose electrical issues, manage troubleshooting activities, verify proper operation of systems, and communicate progress and technical information clearly to internal teams and customers.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in electricity principles and practical electrical work skills.
- Experience with maintenance & repair tasks, including diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts relevant to installation, design, and system performance.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by Tennessee regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in a lead or supervisory electrician role, including crew coordination.
