Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot audio and video equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, displays, and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on AV systems to ensure consistent operation and longevity
- Manage cabling and wiring tasks using hand tools to ensure neatness, safety, and compliance with electrical standards
- Troubleshoot software issues related to AV control systems and computer hardware to resolve operational problems swiftly
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for system setup, upgrades, repairs, and training sessions
- Collaborate with clients and team members to determine technical requirements and provide expert recommendations for system enhancements
Qualifications
- Proven experience with electrical systems including E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles and low voltage wiring techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to mounting hardware, enclosures, and structural components of AV equipment
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems and the integration of audio/video components within larger network infrastructures
- Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize hand tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks
- Experience with software troubleshooting on various AV control platforms and computer hardware setups
- Knowledge of cabling standards such as HDMI, VGA, SDI, Ethernet (Cat5e/6), fiber optics, and other relevant wiring methods
- Electrical experience or background in field service roles is highly desirable

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
