What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Setup Crew position at Extravaganza Events and Props?
Extravaganza Events and Props is an event planning, decor and design company located in Matthews, North Carolina.
We are currently in need of seasonal event set up staff for our spring season (April - June). We have a warehouse full of props and decor that we deliver to events throughout North and South Carolina. Hours vary and will include late nights and weekends.
Duties Include:
- Pull decor and rental items from warehouse and loading them on trucks.
- Deliver decor and rental items to various event locations and set up the items.
- Return after hours to breakdown and pick up decor items.
- Work with a team to complete the set up and breakdown in a timely manner.
- Ability to work with decor and rental items including pipe and drape, tables, chairs, props, lighting.
- Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs.
- Must be able to work on your feet for a minimum of 4 hours.
- Flexible schedule required including nights and weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Experience with driving box trucks and vans preferred, but not required.
Pay is comprised of hourly rates plus rates for strikes and other event duties as assigned.
