Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Paraprofessional located in Gibsonton, FL. The Paraprofessional will support students with various educational needs by assisting teachers in the classroom. Responsibilities include providing individualized support to students, assisting with lesson planning and preparation, implementing behavior management strategies, and supporting students during classroom activities and field trips. The Paraprofessional will also assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Classroom management and student support skills
- Experience in lesson planning, preparation, and implementation
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Behavior management and intervention strategies
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and needs
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree or higher preferred
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in student development
