We are currently seeking a candidate that is mechanically inclined to become an integral part of our team. This candidate must be able to use a variety of hand tools, such as wrenches and screw drivers with skill. We are willing to train the right candidate who is anxious to learn how to assist changing molds and Dies on Plastic Injection Mold machines. This is a Contract to Hire position for the right person.** A minimum of 1 year's experience assisting in changing Dies/Mold in a Plastic Injection Mold Machine?****This is a trainee position with room for advancement** **This is a long term position with a company that promotes work/life balance for its employees.Job Description:Assist the 1st shift supervisor in changing molds and dies on the machines (after the training period)Assist the 1st shift supervisor in working on hoses, nozzles and auxiliary equipment (after training period)Run both manual and automatic Plastic Injection mold machines and gauge and pack partsTrain to operate a Hi-Lo (to become certified after training)Train to operate an overhead crane (to become certified after training)Train to set up and tear down machinesTrain to do minor maintenance and troubleshooting on machinesWages will commensurate with experience and skill setMedical Benefits available after probation/trial period and hired in Direct to companyProfit sharing available to employee once they have worked as a Direct employee to the company for at least 1 year (this does not include the probationary period or trial period as it is referred to)Job Requirements:Able to stoop, bend, twist and lift up to 50 LBS.Must have mechanical inclinationsAble to work well with hand tools such as wrenches and screw driversAble to follow directionAble to pass a sophisticated Drug testMUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND OWN WORKING VEHICLE!!Must be organized and a self-starterMust have a minimum of 1 year's experience in assisting in changing Die/Molds on a Plastic Injection Mold MachineMust have a minimum of 1 year's experience operating Plastic Injection Mold machinesHours: Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pmCandidate must be available to work overtime if customer demands require it.Wages will commensurate with experience and skill setCompany DescriptionCome join the Workforce of the Future with ERS.
