About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Associate to join our corporate office in Shelton, CT. In this role, you will support our accounting and financial operations by managing invoices, payments, reconciliations, and reports. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare invoices, send billing reminders, and communicate with clients.
· Process, verify, and record transactions; post receipts.
· Handle credit card charges, refunds, and account reconciliations.
· Partner with account management and other departments to resolve account issues.
· Assist with month-end reconciliations, closings, and financial reporting.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel.
· Experience with data analytics or programming is a plus.
· Prior accounting/finance experience preferred.
· Highly detail-oriented, organized, and accurate.
· Ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate within a team.
Schedule & Location
· Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
· On-site at Shelton, CT Corporate Office
