What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at External Opportunities?
General Labor:
The purpose of the General Laborer is to carry out activities related to designated areas covered by the General Laborer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Moving containers of parts between production operations. Move blended raw material from mix storage area to molding presses, dip parts in no rust solution, unload furnaces and assist Operators as necessary.
- Move parts to dip area. Dip parts into no rust solution and drain. Move parts from dip area to next scheduled operation.
- Unload furnaces and move parts to the next scheduled operation.
- Effectively communicate job related information.
- Maintain a clean safe, and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as required.
Competency Requirements:
- Understand process sheets used in job related production areas.
- Understand and follow internal quality policy and job-related procedures.
- Perform related functions in molding, sintering, sizing, wet tumbling and dip area.
- Successful completion of Forklift Driver Training.
Candidates must be available for all shifts.
