What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Extension, Inc?
Extension is seeking a Quality Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located near Brookfield, WI!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections using tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Read and interpret blueprints, including tolerances, dimensions, and revision levels
- Document inspection results and non-conformances
- Use ERP systems to issue MRBs for non-conforming products
- Communicate quality issues with production supervisors and support corrective actions
- Conduct visual inspections and verify tool geometry/characteristics
- Maintain inspection records and assist with internal audits
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in a quality or inspection role
- Experience using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry, documentation)
- High school diploma or GED
Salary & Schedule
- Onsite Monday-Friday
- 1st shift and 3rd shift openings
- $22-$28 / hour (depending on shift and experience)
