What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Attendant position at Extended Stay America St. Louis - Fenton?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Hotel Front Desk Attendant who will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and lasting impression. You will handle all aspects of a guest's stay, from check-in to check-out, while embodying our property’s vision, mission, and core values. Your multitasking skills and guest-focused mentality will be key to ensuring a seamless experience. Must be available to work all 3 shifts.
Compensation:
$17 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly.
- Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift
- Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy.
- Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process
- Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person, including groups
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach.
- Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
