Duties: WE ARE CURRENTLY FILLING A COMPANION ROLE ONLY
- Provide emotional support and companionship to identified members
- Engage members in ongoing social interaction, activities, or movement
- Facilitate activities in appropriate areas within the building, ensuring activities are balanced to meet the member’s abilities and needs
- Use verbal or visual cuing techniques to meet the social and emotional needs of the member
- Use focused interaction and activities to redirect members who are confused, agitated, or a safety risk
- Lead activities that support the member’s mind and promote movement
- Spend time with the member for the duration of the shift
- Alert nurses when the individual needs help or clinical intervention
- Adhere to the facility’s policies and standards
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Salary: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week Hours available 12pm to 10pm needed
7 days a week
