We are seeking a caring and reliable Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a private duty pediatric case in Danielsville, PA.

This case involves care for a 7-year-old patient with trach and ventilator needs. The nurse will provide care both at school and at home. The home has cats and dogs and is a non-smoking environment.

Schedule

Tuesday through Friday
7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

Our nurses provide direct patient care, support patient and family needs, evaluate care plans, and communicate with physicians and other caregivers as needed.

Essential duties include:

• Obtaining patient medical history related to the patient’s current condition
• Performing physical assessments
• Evaluating patient needs, family dynamics, and home environment
• Determining the type and frequency of care needed
• Following physician orders and the patient’s plan of care
• Evaluating the effectiveness of the care plan and recommending revisions as needed
• Reporting changes in condition or service needs to the physician
• Coordinating care with other caregivers
• Performing other assigned nursing duties

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Trach and ventilator experience preferred
• Comfortable working in both school and home settings
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional
