What You'll Be Doing:
As a 3rd Shift Direct Care Staff member, your primary responsibility is maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment while residents rest.
- Conduct routine resident safety and wellness checks throughout the night
- Assist residents with overnight needs, including personal care and toileting assistance when necessary
- Administer and document medications scheduled during overnight hours
- Complete required documentation, logs, and shift reports accurately
- Monitor the home for safety concerns and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning common areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and resident rooms as assigned
- Complete laundry tasks and prepare linens for the upcoming day
- Assist with meal preparation and morning setup for residents and day shift staff
- Ensure the home remains organized, stocked, and ready for the next shift
- Communicate important information to incoming staff during shift handoff
