Key Responsibilities:Set up and Operate CNC machine for the cutting of metallic materialsTool life managementInterpret blueprints, sketches/shop drawings, and engineering specificationsPerform 1st piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges according to process documentationPerform operator maintenanceDiagnose and correct equipment or tool issuesPerform basic de-burr or rework of work in-processMake recommendations to optimize and improve assigned processesMaintain workstation to 5S standardsPerform all work according to Advanced Machining and Tooling safety standardsComply with all Advanced Machining and Tooling policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned.---Qualifications:3 years CNC Lathe experience.High School Diploma or GED.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient use of basic shop arithmeticExperience using G and M codes requiredAwareness of general safety, and quality systems.Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks in a manufacturing setting.Nice to Have:Aerospace Experience.Tool life management experience.Ability to read, write and interpret written instructions, blueprints, shop drawings and engineering specifications.Experience with 3-axis machine set up.Ability to understand CMM reportsYou should be proficient in:GD&TCNC ToolingG-Code M-CodeMachine Setups for Production RunsMachines & technologies you'll use:CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)ID:qnkTyx
