Manufacturing Manager

Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting Manufacturing Manager for a fast-growing Electrical manufacturing company located in Aliso Viejo.

Service Line: Direct Hire, Fulltime

Pay: Up to $120k salary

Schedule: M-F 1st Shift

Responsibility:

• Develop and maintain machine programs and process setups for production lines (e.g., SMT, assembly, test).
• Establish and monitor process controls to maintain consistent quality and achieve 100% FPY goals.
• Analyze production data to identify root causes of yield loss, downtime, or variation; implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure line readiness and adherence to manufacturing standards.
• Train and mentor operators and technicians in line setup, troubleshooting, and best manufacturing practices.
• Support production scheduling by flexing into line operation as needed to meet customer demand.
• Maintain documentation for work instructions, setup parameters, and process change approvals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on throughput, yield, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, and quality standards in all manufacturing areas.
• Participate in new product introductions (NPI) to ensure manufacturability and process readiness.

Requirements:

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 4–5 years of related experience/training

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals

• Basic math proficiency with whole numbers, fractions, and decimal

• Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities

• Basic computer knowledge

• Ability to stand for long periods, use hands frequently, and lift up to 25 lbs

• Exposure to chemicals and heat guns may occur

• Experience with machinery such as: Ekra - Serio 4000 - Screen Solder Printer, Saturn - Solder Inspection, Hitachi E-G4 - Pick and Place, Heller Oven
