Maintenance Technician Job Summary:A growing manufacturer in Grand Rapids is seeking a Maintenance Technicians to join their team. The Maintenance Technician will support manufacturing operations by maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing all facilities and manufacturing equipment in a safe and orderly fashion as directed by the maintenance supervisor or maintenance manageMaintenance Technician Requirements:Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that molds and machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorateSet up, install, and repair machinery and equipmentFabrication and upkeep of parts and toolsRepair or replace defective equipment, and record maintenance and repair work performed, and the cost of work.Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.Replaces or repairs metal, wood, leather, glass, or other lining in machine or equipment compartments or containers.**Schedule: *2nd shift (2-10pm)* **Monday – Friday with weekend overtimePay: $22-$26/HR based on experience and qualificationsMaintenance Technician Qualifications:HS diploma or GEDLead 6S cleaning and organization standards in the Zone.2 or more years of machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds on a frequent basisStrong working knowledge of hydraulics, as well as mechanical and electrical maintenanceSet up and operate machine and adjust controls that regulate operational functions to ensure conformance to specifications.Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches to precision measuring instruments, and electrical and electronic testing devices.ID:qnkTyx
