ExpressPoint has an opening for an Accounting Associate I in our East El Paso facility. This position will support the company objectives and financial goals for ExpressPoint by performing various accounts payable (A/P) duties and proactively communicates with all teams of the company as well as external customers.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and can explain inventory postings as it related to accounts payable transactions.
Post invoices using a three-way match and reconcile any discrepancies that stem from over/under shipments, pricing, damaged/lost product, etc. with minimal assistance.
Post expense invoices ensuring the integrity of the general ledger account code.
Maintain uninvoiced purchase order and RTV reports to limit outstanding items.
Resolve vendor issues, recommend areas for improvement and work with team members to implement corrective actions.
Ensure timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers.
Follow all policies and procedures.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Education: AA/AS preferred
Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in accounts payable (waived for internal candidates)
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
Extremely accurate and orientation to detail.
Must be flexible and adaptable to learn new methods and procedures or required.
Strong problem-solving skills.
