What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at ExpressIt Delivery?
We are hiring a W2 employee Small Auto Parts Delivery Driver for a route in Newton, Massachusetts.
Compensation is a combination of hourly rate plus non-taxable mileage reimbursement.
Job time 8:00am to 5:00pm. Driving approximately 200 miles a day, Monday - Friday.
Applicants drive their own vehicles in this position and will need to have an acceptable driving record, valid drivers license and declaration page from their car insurance policy to show dates of coverage, them as a named insured and policy limits.
Qualified candidates must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Have a dependable vehicle with GPS & automotive insurance (you will drive your own vehicle)
- Have an acceptable driving record
- Have general knowledge of the designated area
- Have solid communication skills
- Be familiar with hand-held digital devices
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Prior experience preferred, but not essential. Employees will be compensated for tolls, if incurred. Compensation is a combination of hourly rate plus non-taxable mileage reimbursement.
