What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Instructor position at Expressions Art Studio?
Job Overview
We are seeking someone who is passionate about dance and eager to inspire others through movement! Expressions Art Studio opened in February 2025 and primarily focused on visual arts but in January 2026 we expanded to a new location and are now venturing into offering performing arts such as dance, theater, and music lessons in addition to our regular painting and crafting classes. Expressions Art Studio opened with the goal of creating a safe space for people to express their creativity, make new friends, relax and have fun! Those values remain with us as we continue to grow!
As a Dance Instructor at Expressions Art Studio, you will be able to lead engaging dance classes for students of all ages and skill levels. In this role, you will foster a positive learning environment, and help students develop their technique, confidence, and love for dance. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, your enthusiasm and instruction will motivate learners to reach their full potential while having fun every step of the way! This position offers a fantastic opportunity to share your passion for dance and make a lasting impact on our community. We would like to offer contemporary, ballet, and other styles. Since these are new classes, we are flexible and very open to working with you to create a class curriculum that best utilizes your background in dance and skills rather than expecting you to memorize and follow an established curriculum. You will be paid for your time developing the curriculum in addition to teaching the class.
