OTR Driver - Operating A Sprinter Van

Job Summary
Join our team as an OTR (Over-the-Road) Driver operating company’s sprinter van, and embark on exciting long-haul routes that keep freight moving across regions. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight. Your dedication ensures timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. (90% no touch freight ) You will be traveling across states for approximately 2-3 weeks, come home for a break up to a week then repeat. This position requires 8-12 hours of work most days and the van is equipped with a bed to maximize your profit. We dispatch for you, and your pay is 40% of each load

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 25 years old
• Eligible to work in the U.S
• Basic English
• No felonies or criminal record
• Must be located in Ohio
• Must have a valid ohio driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have a smart phone (for using gps and tracking apps)
• Able to drive long distances

Responsibilities

• Safely operate van across regional and national routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement
• Follow planned routes efficiently while managing unexpected delays or route changes proactively
• Communicate effectively with team to coordinate deliveries and report any issues promptly
