Job Summary
Express Yourself Marriage and Family Therapy, A Professional Corporation is seeking to hire 1–3 compassionate and motivated Associate Clinicians (AMFT, APCC, or ASW) to join our growing mental health practice serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout California.
This position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful therapeutic support while gaining valuable clinical experience in a collaborative and supportive environment committed to professional growth. Associates are provided supervision, administrative support, referrals as available, and flexibility in building a caseload aligned with their clinical interests and strengths.

Position Details

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments and intake evaluations to identify treatment needs and goals
- Provide individual, family, couples, and/or child therapy services
- Utilize evidence-based and developmentally appropriate interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA, BBS standards, and practice policies
- Coordinate care and engage in case management activities when clinically appropriate
- Participate in supervision, consultation, and team collaboration
- Support clients and families in developing coping skills, emotional insight, communication skills, and behavioral growth
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with California BBS regulations
Required Qualifications
- Current California registration as an AMFT, APCC, or ASW in good standing
- Ability to maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with BBS regulations and HIPAA requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative and open to feedback
- Comfortable providing telehealth services
- Ability to complete documentation in a timely and professional manner
- Current Liability Insurance
Optional Qualifications
- Experience or interest in working with children, adolescents, families, trauma, anxiety, relationships, or behavioral concerns
- Familiarity with behavioral health interventions, child and family counseling, CBT, DBT, play therapy, attachment-based work, or related approaches welcomed
- Play therapy experience or training is a plus, but not required
