CDL A Truck Driver
$1,500–$1,800 weekly • Home every other week • No-touch freight • 2021 trucks
Hiring Area: New Orleans, LA 70112
Drivers in New Orleans stepping into this position with Express Trucking Group will be assigned newer model Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with automatic transmissions and power inverters. Equipment is set up for long-haul comfort, and drivers can take their truck home if safe parking is available or use a nearby terminal.
Freight runs primarily east of I-35 through the Southeast, Midwest, and Eastern states. This is a dry van operation with 100% no-touch freight. About half of the loads are drop and hook, while the rest are live load or unload depending on the route.
Drivers operate on a two-week schedule with home time every other week. Dispatch plans loads in advance to keep drivers moving and reduce unnecessary downtime between trips.
Pay for this position is $1,500–$1,800 weekly, with additional compensation for detention and layover when applicable. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days, retirement plan with company match after six months, and paid vacation.

Requirements:
Must have Class A CDL
Must have at least 3 months tractor-trailer experience
Must meet DOT requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Must pass background and drug screening
