What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Electro-Mechanical) position at Express-Spartanburg?
Step into a day on our maintenance team
Before the first product rolls off the line, you’ve already checked critical systems, reviewed overnight logs, and prioritized work orders. A conveyor is due for preventive service, a gearbox is running hot, and a PLC fault light needs investigating. By mid-shift you’ve diagnosed a pneumatic leak, swapped a motor, updated documentation, and coordinated with production to minimize downtime. You end your night with a clean work area, a safer line, and equipment ready for tomorrow’s demands.
