What you’ll tackle

• Operate fabricating machinery—shears, brakes, presses, forming machines, and punches—to cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, and structures
• Translate job specifications/work orders into machine adjustments, material selection, and required in-process quality checks
• Use scales, rules, or templates to set precise lengths; position workpieces and align to layout marks
• Activate and monitor equipment during processing to maintain dimensional accuracy and consistent part quality
• Perform minor maintenance (including oiling) to keep machines in reliable condition
• Record quantities and complete documentation per work instructions
• Keep the work area clean and safe; follow all safety policies

Must-haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
• Hands-on experience as a machine operator, press operator, or press brake operator
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and production machinery
• Ability to interpret technical documents and manuals
• Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed
