Express Fitness Front Desk Associate

EXPRESS FITNESS FRONT DESK REPRESENTATIVE PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Express Membership Service Desk Representative’s purpose is to successfully help coordinate front desk and check in activities for Express Fitness as well as successfully sell All Express Fitness memberships and services. They are the first impression people have when they enter the facility and the last positive lasting impression as they leave. They are also key contributors to maintaining a high level of customer service for our members, as well as keeping the growth of express fitness on track.

EXPRESS FITNESS FRONT DESK RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include helping field and return telephone calls, checking members into the facility, signing members up for company offerings and services, following basic instruction provided by Express Fitness Manager, handling cash drawer and collecting payments, providing superior customer service to the membership base and guests of the facility. Meeting monthly sales targets (BHI’s) set by the Express Fitness Manager. Importing of new member data into Motionsoft and Genavix Portal, delivery of sales events and promotions such as open houses, events, expos, or holiday sales, solving or escalating customer service issues in an attempt to meet company retention standard, upselling customers to EHSC, managing the customer service sales experience and general public perception of the sales department and company.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORKING CONDITIONS:

Applicant must be able to commit to a minimum of two (4) shifts a week and also be flexible to help cover additional shifts when needed. This position requires the ability to work 4-8 hour shifts. It also requires the ability to work nights and weekends depending on the business’ needs.

EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality role preferred
• Basic computer skills and knowledge required
• Prior cash register experience in a busy environment is preferred
• Sales Experience is a plus
• Above average work ethic
• Ability to take direction and execute appropriately
• Outgoing personality with team player mentality
• High degree of integrity
• Above average organizational skills
• Ability to operate in a fast paced environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Above average sales skills
• Good communication skills and ability to connect with customers

COMPENSATION:

The Express Fitness offers a highly competitive compensation package for employees which includes, a base hourly pay, FREE Health Club Membership (valued at over $500 ), free childcare services.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
