Responsibilities
- Safely operate different types of box trucks and Cargo Vans.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports throughout each shift.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of yourself and others.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (Class C).
- Ability to pass background screening and motor vehicle record (MVR) review
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Smartphone with GPS capability
- Proven truck driving experience, particularly with freight delivery across various terrains and conditions.
- Experience operating Box Trucks and Cargo Vans.
- Knowledge of route driving strategies to optimize delivery times while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance checks and safety procedures.
